    Community Meal (February)

Over reading week, a number of students connected to The Open Table are travelling to places including New Orleans and Nicaragua, in order to explore more connections between faith and justice. We’ve invited them to share their stories.

Event Details

The Open Table envisions community to be a place where healing takes place and justice is lived out.

Every month we come together for an open community meal. We eat. We meet. We reflect. And we connect – with each other, with God, and with the community. As we do so, in community with one another, we try to work out what it means to be faithful in the midst of work, school, family, and relationship. In short, our community seeks to encourage one another as we connect the dots between faith and real life.

Over reading week, a number of students connected to Open Table are travelling to explore some more connections between faith and justice. We’ve invited them to share their stories and facilitate some more good conversation.

Our meals are hosted by the Anglican Parish of All Saints Sandy Hill (317 Chapel Street at Laurier). Doors open at 4.30pm, and the table is set for 5.00pm. We hope to see you there!
